There are so many things to see and experience, experiences that are unique to Australia and should not missed!
The 6 Day Secrets of the Eyre Peninsula is a unique opportunity to showcase a unique and pristine region. On this tour you have the opportunity to do 3 of the Top 20 Wildlife experiences in Australia!

Great White Shark Cage Dive or swim with Bluefin Tuna
Day 1
Our adventure begins north from Adelaide as we venture into the Southern Flinders Ranges.
The tour jumps on board a Pichi Richi Camel Trek and discover South Australia's premier national Park. This is followed by a bush tucker lunch in this pristine environment.
We stop along the way to take in typical rural cities and towns. At the end of the first day’s journey we climb Mount Wudinna - second largest in size - for a magical sunset.
That night we experience our first bush camp near some granite outcrops on the edge of the Gawler Ranges National Park. (LD)
Day 2
After a short drive we board the MV Investigator for a 4-5 hr cruise (own cost at $120 Inc GST). It's a relaxing day viewing and swimming with dolphins and Australian sea lions. For years this has been one of the highlights of the tour! We then visit the famous Murphy's Haystacks - the weird and wonderful - 100,000 year old granite inselbergs shaped by the sands of time. From there we drive to Venus Bay - a sheltered beautiful bay where on an enjoyable coastal walk we catch sight of dolphins as they frolic in and out of the waves. Over night stop at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat. Our hosts Hassie, Jo and family takes on a unique nocturnal spotlighting tour looking for Australia's National Emblems - Kangaroos, Wombats and Emus. (BLD)
Day 3
It is up to you how you would like to spend the day, relaxing on your own private beach or get involves with the day to day operations of running a real Aussie farm.
Enjoy the tranquility and freedom of open space and the many bush walks on the property or go with Hassie and Jo and explore their 3000 acre back yard. (BLD)
Day 4
This morning we go to the Colton Bakery - a unique wood fired bakery on the side of the highway with an honesty pay system. We meet Mark the owner of Colton Bakery and walk through this interesting bakery.
Then it’s up to Walkers Rock where we learn to Surf! Kingo - an Eyre Peninsula legend has given up teaching students in school to now teaching learn to surf up and down the Eyre Peninsula coastline.
So we head out by 4 Wheel Drive on to a beautiful deserted beach and spend the next two hours mastering the surf breaks. We have lunch at Elliston’s Great Ocean Tourist Drive with stunning sculptures which contrast against the Investigator group of islands in the back ground. We travel to Locks Well and admire the view and the man made 291 steps down to the Locks Well beach. We then travel on through an old settlement called Nowhere Else, before settling for the night in the city of Port Lincoln.
Please note: During the winter tours [June, July and August] when it is pretty cold for surfing we have an exciting 4WD Drive experience to the Billion Stars Hotel in the sand dunes of Lake Newland. (BLD)
Day 5
Today is an extreme day of fun! Those that dare come face to face with the Great White Shark on a day tour [optional experience $385] which includes a video highlights of your experience.
Those not wishing to be quite so extreme have the opportunity to swim with Tuna - it is like swimming with lightening as these unique fish go into a frenzy while being fed as you snorkel your way around the ring. This tour is followed by a visit to Glen Forest Wildlife Park.
Once the shark crew arrives back we head to Cowell for a great overnight Aussie country pub experience! (BLD)
Day 6
As we depart, probably worst for wear, we head through Whyalla, then into Port Augusta and the Wadlatta Cultural Centre. From here we go into Alligator Gorge in the Southern Flinders Ranges where we do our last bushwalk. If time permits we visit a winery in the Clare Valley before heading back into South Australia’s capital city Adelaide. (BL)
