After dinner curl up under the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie Bedroll (swag) at our permanent campsite. (LD)

Day 2 – Uluru and Kata Tjuta
Up before dawn to experience an Uluru sunrise and either an optional climb or base walk, exploring the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal Art sites. Visit the Cultural Centre for a greater insight into Aboriginal art and beliefs with the opportunity to purchase art & crafts. After lunch, hike the spectacular ‘Valley of the Winds’ in Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) then enjoy a glass of sparkling wine while watching the desert sun set over Uluru. Return to camp to enjoy a traditional camp oven dinner before ‘turning in’ for the night. (BLD)

Day 3 - Uluru to Coober Pedy
An early departure this morning as we head to Coober Pedy, crossing the Northern Territory/South Australian border. On arrival enjoy a mine tour, including an opal cutting demonstration, with the chance to try opal fossicking (time permitting). Overnight in an underground bunkhouse at Coober Pedy. (NB: Upgrade to hotel accommodation available at additional expense) (BLD)

Day 4 - Coober Pedy to Rawnsley Park
Today we journey further south along the Stuart Highway passing the ‘rocket-launching’ township of Woomera, breaking for lunch at Port Augusta before arriving at the spectacular sheep station of Rawnsley Park in the late afternoon. Overnight bunkhouse accommodation. (BLD)

Day 5 - Wilpena Pound to Parachilna
An early start to the day for the challenging climb of Mt Ohlssen-Bagge. Be rewarded with fantastic views of Wilpena Pound, the Ranges, desert and Lake Torrens.
