Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Perth- Kalbarri
• Pinnacles Desert
• Batavia Coast
• Pink Lakes
• Coastal Gorges
Leaving the hustle and bustle of Perth city behind us, we head north through the peaceful Wanneroo countryside, arriving at the unique Pinnacles Desert by late morning. After lunch we travel through historic Greenough Shire and the famous horizontal trees on our way to giant sand dunes for some sandboarding fun (a huge adrenaline rush). Overnight Kalbarri (L, D)
DAY 2
Kalbarri- Monkey Mia
• Natures Window
• Z-Bend
• Shell Beach
• Monkey Mia Resort
Today we rise early heading for the gorges of Kalbarri National Park for some bushwalking, check out the Z-bend and Natures Window. Here you can really appreciate a 400 million-year-old landscape. This afternoon we make our way up to Shark Bay and the beautiful Shell Beach next stop Denham the most westerly Town in WA for a quick beer stop. Tonight we get to stay at Monkey Mia Resort, right on the beach. All facilities, including swimming pool, hot tub and tennis courts. (B/L/D)
DAY 3
Monkey Mia- Coral Bay
• Dolphins
• Stromatolites
• Coastal Cliffs
• Outback
We will be on Monkey Mia beach for the arrival of the enchanting wild dolphins of Monkey Mia you even have a chance to go sailing on a catamaran (optional extra). After Lunch we start heading to Coral Bay, we make stops at one of the costal gorges and Project Eden. Here our journey into the outback really becomes visible with 360 degrees of land, sea and sky. This is called Big Sky country. After a brief stop at the tropical town of Carnarvon, we head for our overnight stay in Coral Bay. Hostel, all facilities swimming pool. (B/L/D)
DAY 4
Coral Bay- Exmouth
• Ningaloo Reef
• Coral Bay
• Snorkeling
• Shothole Canyon
Today there is time to enjoy this idyllic location Coral Bay the gateway to Ningaloo Reef, with Ningaloo Reef being the largest fringing coral reef in the world. Here we can marvel at the underwater world of multi-coloured fish and corals. All this is just meters from the sandy shore. Enjoy swimming, sunbaking, beachcombing, snorkeling or some optional activities like a glass bottomed boat cruise or quadbikes. Late this afternoon we make our way across the grasslands for an overnight stay in Exmouth. Hostel, all facilities, swimming pool. (B/L/D)
DAY 5
Exmouth
• Ningaloo Reef
• Yardie Creek
• Cape Range National Park
Today after breakfast you have 2 options. Option 1 Stay with our Guide and head out into the magnificent Cape Range National Park, making our way towards the secluded beaches of the Ningaloo Reef, where you can snorkel (optional) with a huge variety of soft corals and fish, some different to Coral Bay. First we head off to explore Yardie Creek Gorge and look for rock wallabies. Next stop you have a chance to swim/snorkel at Turquoise Bay. Option 2 Go diving on Ningaloo Reef (own expense) There are many dive packages to choice from you can even go Swim with whale sharks (April-June) after our return to Exmouth, we gather at the pool to exchange addresses, share a beer or two and say our final good-byes to those who are not returning back to Perth. Dinner is not included tonight unless you are returning on the 7-Day tour. (B/L)
Exmouth – Perth Return
Day 6
Exmouth- Northampton
• Murchison River
• Riverside Sanctuary
• Bush walk
We depart Exmouth for our return journey to Perth stopping overnight at Riverside Sanctuary at the base of the Murchison River. Our stay here includes a guided bush walk. (B, D, Please note lunch at own expense)
Day 7
Northampton- Perth
• Hutt River Province
• Wildlife Park
We depart Riverside sanctuary making our way to the Principality of Hutt River Province an Independent Sovereign state after meeting H.R.H. Prince Leonard we make our way to Greenough Wildlife Park to meet the local snakes. (B/ Lunch at own expense)
